I’ve noticed some strange things occurring with Level II quotes when using the TD Ameritrade Command Center and viewing low volume stocks. This has happened several times.

What are all of those 100 share orders in Level II (Level 2) Quotes?
There are a whole bunch, all well below current bid, of orders for 100 shares on different exchanges.
My guess is that the brokers/MMs on these exchanges watch for these to execute as a way of being notified that the stock price has dropped, and as a way of catching drops in volume, maybe triggering a [...]
